The thesis colloquium offers students who are writing their Bachelor's or Master's thesis at our professorship intensive support. In regular sessions, participants have the opportunity to present their research results, receive valuable feedback from fellow students and supervisors and discuss methodological and content-related issues. Participation in the colloquium is compulsory for all students writing their thesis at the chair of Prof. Dr. Gersch.

  • Dates (mandatory): 
    • 21.10.2024 - Topic “Orientation”: Overview of the thesis process at the professorship; discussion and “best practices” for the preparation of an exposé
    • 04.11.2024 - Topic “Researching”: Workshop on (systematic) literature searches
    • 02.12.2024 - Topic “Writing”: Workshop on formulating, structuring and citing a thesis; discussion and best practices for creating an outline
    • 13.01.2025 - Topic “Condensing”: Intermediate presentations
    • 20.01.2025 - Topic “Rounding off”: Q&A session
