We mourn the loss of our International Advisory Board member, colleague and friend Prof. Susan Christopherson from Cornell University, who died on December 14^th after a struggle with cancer.

Her work not only helped to pioneer the field of economic geography, but brought sensitivity for the geographic dimension into many other fields of study such as business studies, industrial relations, or public policy. She inspired many students and colleagues with her enthusiasm and creative insight. She will be sorely missed.
