TP7 investigates how the labour supply of older can be increased.
The first part examines the effect of potential benefit duration and benefit levels on unemployment outcomes. The empirical setting is Poland, where data availability and policy reforms provide a unique opportunity to examine such program substitution.
The second project examines health-related investments that enable workers to work longer. This project exploits discontinuities created by pension reforms in Germany.
The third project examines constraints for formal employment generated by the provision of informal long-term care (LTC) for relatives or friends with health limitations. Variation originates from inflows of non-native workers.
