Dr. Chikako Oka was invited to participate in a panel and share her insights on the question "LivingWages – how to speed up progress?" at the "FairLiving Wage Summit " organized by H&M in Phnom Penh on 11 December 2018. The summit gathered stakeholders from business and civil society to discuss H&M’s strategies, experiences and challenges of promoting living wages in key garment producing countries. The key topics included workplace dialogue, wage management systems, and ACT (short for Action Collaboration Transformation), an initiative to promote industry-wide collective bargaining.
