From April 25 – 28, 2017, Dr. Rachel Alexander participated in the European Consortium for Political Research (ECPR) Joint Sessions of Workshops in Nottingham, UK, which is a leading forum for substantive discussion and collaboration between scholars of political science. Dr. Alexander presented ongoing research on developing structures of transnational industrial relations that bring together global garment brands and retailers with IndustriALL, a global union federation, to support improved worker safety and a living wage for garment workers.
