Dr. Nora Lohmeyer was invited to present our paper “Intraorganizational tensions around being good: Structures and practices of organizing purchasing and CSR in garment retailers and brands” at theInstitute for Management Research (IMR), Radboud University Nijmegen, Netherlands (6th March 2017). The paper focuses on the on the challenges that CSR- and procurement managers face when working towards more sustainable supply chain management and is a joint paper by Nora Lohmeyer (FU Berlin), Elke Schüßler (JKU Linz), Sarah Ashwin (LSE) and Rachel Alexander (LSE), and Chika Oka (Royal Holloway).
In the morning, Dr. Lohmeyer also presented our research project to a class of master students studying “Forms of Responsible Organizing”, which is tought at the IMR.
The IMR Department at Radboud University Nijmegen has a particular research interest in the Responsible Organization.
