Girls Day at FU Berlin: Who made my clothes?
News vom 28.03.2019
For the third time, the Garment Supply Chain Governance Project was involved in organizing a workshop at the annual Girls Day at Freie Universität Berlin. Like in the previous years, Nora Lohmeyer - together with colleagues from the Management Department at Freie Universität Berlin, Carolin Auschra and Ignas Bruder - offered a workshop for girls from Berlin-based schools to provide them with insights into the daily life at a university as well as what it means to study management. Based on the example of the global garment supply chain, basic management concepts were introduced and discussed. The attending girls had a lot of questions, particularly on issues such as labor standards in garment factories or consumer responsibility.
