Dr. Marlene Hohn is a researcher and lecturer in the field of sustainable supply and operations management at the Department of Management at FU Berlin's School of Business and Economics. Before joining FU Berlin in 2024, Dr. Hohn earned her PhD at ESCP Business School Berlin. Prior to that, she studied at Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg and Europa-Universität Flensburg.

Dr. Hohn conducts research in the realm of global supply chains, operations management, and sustainability. Recent works have investigated motivational and technological aspects of managing social sustainability in global supply chains, e.g. in the apparel industry. Her most recent project focusses on the role of power in international supply chain relationships for fostering decent working conditions upstream in the supply chain. Dr. Hohn's work has been published in International Journal for Physical Distribution and Logistics Management and International Journal of Operations and Production Management and may be accessed here.

At FU Berlin, Dr. Hohn's teaching covers courses on Supply & Operations Management (Bachelor) and Management & Sustainability (Master) as well as supervising students during their final theses.
