Dissertation topic:
- Path dependence versus innovation? Royal Dutch Shell's exploration of alternative fuels and strategic path management The idea of "mindful deviation" is at the core of the concept of path creation. However, so far this idea has not been thoroughly operationalised. Against this background and starting from the observation that even mineral oil companies are engaged in the area of alternative fuels, their operations in this area are investigated from the perspective of path creation.
