Dissertation topic:
- Decision Paths in Techno-Organizational Change. University Reform and IT Implementation. Path dependence is related to organizational (in)capacity for change. Based on an empirical study of the very recent study and information technology reform at the Freie Universität Berlin, the dissertation investigates which positive feedback mechanisms are in effect inside the organization, how they restrict change, and how they can be managed.
