The Seventh IESR-GLO Joint Workshop took place on May 16 – May 17, 2024 in Jinan University, Guangzhou, China. Supported by the Journal of Population Economics (JOPE), the event investigated the challenges of "Aging Societies: Healthy Aging, Grandparenting, and Parent-Adult Offspring Relationships". At this occasion, Dean & Professor Shuaizhang Feng appointed Klaus F. Zimmermann to Honorary Professor of IESR, Jinan University, to strengthen the long-term relationships.
