In the research project mathematical optimization models and methods are developed with which the scheduling of mostly regular vehicle blocks and crew duties in public transport (PT) are supported. Although the use of traditional optimization methods leads to optimal but under certain circumstances strongly divergent resource schedules for timetable changes and varying timetables of various operating days. Therefore, the objective is to develop methods that create, in addition to traditional optimization targets, resource schedules in such a way that similar parts of timetables are operated with similar scheduled resources, the operational reliability of the schedules is increased and the planning is simplified.
