The Industry Panel „Transformation of the German Healthcare System” was set up at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, at the 5^th CCEC Workshop on June 30^th 2004. The panel of experts accompanies and analyses the transformation process of the German pharmaceutical market, while also conveying insights concerning entrepreneurial action in the changing business environment. This is an empirical addition to theoretical research in the context of the research group “Change in Entrepreneurial Action”. The Industry Panel is now located at the Freie Universität Berlin, after Prof. Dr. Martin Gersch accepted his appointment as a full professor there.

Goal/Research question:	Theory-based and at the same time applied analysis of technologically driven change and transformation processes on market and industries levels, as well as on the individual business system level. The primary goal is the identification and analysis of potent change drivers and transformation mechanisms.
